Urbano People's next business networking breakfast takes place on Thursday April 26th at the America Square Conference Centre, part of the Cavendish Conference Venues Group.

Urbano People events are aimed at companies and individuals who work in or offer supplies to the HR, recruitment, employment and people management, talent and skills, training and development sectors. But like all Urbano events, our events are not exclusive so attract businesses and individuals looking for opportunities within these sectors. Non-members are welcome at any Urbano event.

Held every six weeks, Urbano People events feature great speakers and at this event we welcome Craig McCoy, HR Director of Bupa Health and Wellbeing.

Previous speakers have included John Roberts, HR Director of Ford UK, Charlie Duff, Social Media Recruitment Expert and Graham Snowdon, Editor of The Guardian's Work Supplement.

Urbano events are proven catalysts for the development of connections, the facilitation of introductions between companies and individuals, the sharing of best practice and a gateway to new business opportunities.

Our special guest speaker Craig McCoy, HR Director of Bupa Health and Wellbeing.

Craig has over 20 years professional HR experience across a number of industry sectors, including media & entertainment, technology. telecommunications, information services, healthcare, professional services and management consultancy.


Appointed to his current ole in 2010, Craig has held HR Director posts at Group level (BSkyB, Datastream), Regional (Aegis Media EMEA, over 40 countries), Divisional/Business Unit (Bupa, BT, Compaq Computer) and interim (Jersey Telecom, 2ergo). He has also worked as a client facing change management consultant with Accenture.

Craig will look his experience in leading Bupa's HR department through a period of major change, including substantial restructuring and a culture change in the organisation and the role HR is playing in that.
