Representative Profile

Vidhi is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture (COA), India. After graduating, she joined Auroville Associated Architects (AAA) based  in a new international township in South India, undergoing construction and development with very high sustainable goals and visions. Known as the ‘Sustainable habitat of India’, any development in Auroville calls for a holistic sustainable design approach. 

Following this, Vidhi undertook a Masters in Architecture in ‘Sustainable Environmental Design’, from the Architectural Association (AA) in London and then joined P&M Sustainability Group. Vidhi specialises in building performance analysis, daylight and dynamic thermal modelling, and has been particularly involved with energy assessments for non-domestic buildings for over 5 years. With her architectural background, she understands challenges in the building design process, occupant behaviour and can help drive design decisions at early stages that have a maximum benefit in terms of energy and comfort.  Within the BREEAM assessment process Vidhi utilises her expertise assisting design teams to understand and target credits directly influenced by building design and occupant comfort to integrate the design and assessment process.

Vidhi is a certified Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) and a Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) with CIBSE and is accredited to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for level 5 non-domestic buildings. She developed the service of providing Part L assessments within the Sustainability team, and has helped clients achieve compliance through the various changes in the Building Regulations. She currently oversees all modelling work within the team.
