About Paul

Paul Cayford RIBA.  Certified Passivhaus Designer

Paul has a passion for creating buildings of quality and the feel-good factor.

He is an experienced architect, creating award-winning buildings in a wide range of sectors.  The dual role of adviser and practicing architect allows a breadth of experience to be brought from one sector to another.

He is also a RIBA Client Adviser, is a member of the Home Office Design Review panel, and former CABE Enabler.  

In previous roles Paul was responsible for HQ’s for companies such as M&S, Glaxo, Novartis, NHS whilst working as senior architect for Aukett & RMJM.  This extensive industry experience informs the professionalism of Cayford Design, along with the personal touch and sensitivity to client requirements. 

Paul was co-founder of Channel Health PLC, the UK’s first dedicated digital health channel; the advanced knowledge of health and well-being informs much of the practice's approach to creating healthy feel-good buildings.
