About Moore Kingston Smith

Moore Kingston Smith is one of the UK's top 20 audit and accountancy firms.

With the IMF and World Bank’s prediction of 7.2% economic growth this year, the soon-to-be launched simplified Goods and Services Tax (GST), and movement further up the Ease of Doing business ladder, there’s never been a better time to do business in India. With the strengthening trade and investment relationship between India and the UK expected to grow significantly in the post-Brexit era, we are pleased to invite you to a “Doing Business in India” seminar on Monday 5 June 2017, 4.30pm at our City head office.

Our guest of honour, Ambassador Dinesh Patnaik, Indian Deputy High Commissioner, will share his insights on the growing India UK business links, and the steps taken by the Indian government to facilitate smooth foreign investments. Our main speaker, Mr Sachin Vasudeva, Senior Partner, SC Vasudeva & Co, New Delhi, will be presenting on the various methods of setting up a presence and doing business in India, changes to the Indian tax landscape and other statutory compliance requirements to be aware of before venturing into India.

The UK Head of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Ms. Shuchita Sonalika, will also be on the panel to share her thoughts on the growing interest of UK companies in doing business in India. Our head of India group and Tax partner, Tim Stovold, will also help in understanding the tax preparations which need to be undertaken in the UK before expanding globally.
