Construction law seminar - liability in contracts

In this session we discuss liability under construction contracts – the interplay between financial caps on liability, professional indemnity insurance provisions and limitation period clauses.

The inclusion of clauses in building contracts and professional appointments that seek to limit the liability of contractors and consultants is common practice when drafting and negotiating construction, development and project agreements. Understanding these provisions is not always quite as simple as it may seem.

In this seminar, Natasha Kaulsay and Amy Bentall will talk through the mechanics of these types of clauses and highlight traps for the unwary.
