Urbano Network hosts a varied calendar of networking events, including speaker and business breakfasts, Top Table networking lunches for company directors and social evenings for team members, all designed to bring an always varied mix of companies to meet, connect and explore opportunities for business development.
As at all Urbano events, including our speaker panel breakfasts, this event will be facilitated by Mark Herring, Connector-In-Chief at Urbano.
Our first event of 2026 is a speaker panel networking breakfast, sponsored by Stewart Title.
About our panel
Kiran Patel, Head of Office Sector Research EMEA at Cushman & Wakefield and author of the award-winning Office Moves Report.
Alexander Jan, Chief Economic Adviser at London Property Alliance (CPA & WPA) and Chair of Central District Alliance and Hatton Garden BIDs. Alex has more than twenty-five years of policy, government and consultancy experience, including many years as ARUP's Chief Economist, and has recently been appointed to the Board at Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation.
With our speakers' expert knowledge, this event will examine the outlook of London's commercial property market in 2026, especially offices, retail and hotels, and how policies like planning and the London Plan, which Alex helped author, continue to shape developments across London.
We will also explore issues like the business rates re-evaluation, due in April, and how trends such as AI and the changing nature of the workplace will drive - or hinder - growth in the commercial sectors.
This event is kindly hosted by Urbano Members Gatehouse Chambers, leading barristers specialising in commercial, construction, insurance and property law, at their Gray's Inn event space where all attendees will enjoy pastries, yoghurts, fruit, and tea and coffee.
As at all Urbano events, there will be plenty of time to meet and connect with the speakers and other attendees, who will be drawn from across a range of property, real estate and other sectors and specialisms.
