About Interactifs

Interactifs - We train business people to communicate more effectively, obtain concrete results more quickly, and enhance relationships.

One of the least enjoyable - but alas not the least frequent - tasks which managers in any organisation are called upon to perform is delivering difficult news, to colleagues or clients: the poor performance review, the missed deadline, the budget overrun, the investment that tanked or the departmental reorganisation.

When called upon to be the bearer of such tidings, most of us feel condemned to choose between being direct but brutally so; or tiptoeing around the subject thorough fear of othe other’s reaction. Either choice carries risks for the relationship.

What you'll learn

You'll discover a structure for announcing bad or difficult news in a way which will give you the best chance of maintaining the relations'khip and of building for the future. You will also go away with some ideas about how to react to difficult news in a way which will allow you to remain calm, think fast and give yourself the best chance of turning the situation around to your advantage.

The workshop forms an introduction to a broader approach for dealing with other people in meetings and conversations so as to produce concrete results more quickly whilst enhancing relationships.

The approach is the subject of a best-selling book, ´Talk Lean' (www.talk-lean.com), which in 2015 was short-listed for the 'Management Book of the Year' award.

Who should attend?

Anyone at any level and in any function who’s paid by their organisation to talk to other people and whose ability to do so effectively is a significant factor in the organisation’s success.

Who we are

We teach verbal effectiveness skills to the executive boards and salesforces – and to every level in between – of leading companies in the financial, industrial, professional services and consumer goods sectors, in many different countries and languages.  Our original approach is the fruit of many years of research into, and observation of, effective verbal behaviours in meetings.
