Join immigration expert Samar Shams and employment law expert Fudia Smartt for an engaging, interactive webinar on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on UK immigration and employment. We will focus on HR best practice.
Samar will address Tier 2 sponsorship issues, including furloughing, absences, start date delays and reporting requirements. Samar will lead a discussion on sponsorship best practice.
We will also examine wider government policies on visa extensions, switching to other visa categories from within the UK, and special allowances for Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa holders.
Fudia will outline the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme and unknot particular issues arising from furloughing and redundancies. We will consider how to treat holidays and other benefits whilst on furlough leave.
Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences as well as ask questions.
