Representative Profile

For 20 years, I have been a co-director of an engagement agency called TalentLab Ltd, where I have worked on a range of client projects. 

I initially trained as a theatre director and use the disciplines of staging a performance in my work. I call this 'audience thinking'. I also make sure that every project Talent Lab works on follows five rules: ISEEC - Inspire. Surprise. Encourage. Excite. Challenge.

It is these rules that drive all my work including running Urbano Network.

As a consultant, I help clients in the professional and service sectors with all aspect of engagement, from strategy and branding, including networking strategies, especially where their people - and brand - meet prospects, such as exhibitions, conferences, 

Projects I have created, written and directed include £1M+ brand development programme, marketing/brand skills workshops, presentation training, script writing and directing of conferences and corporate videos, event hosting and even bad comedy.

I helped create Shoreditch Business Network in the early 2000's and from that developed and grew the Urbano Network community.

I now also specialise in helping companies and individuals develop an effective networking strategy for themselves or their staff. I offer training that helps approaches at events and making networking a seamless part of the marketing mix, having delivered 1,000 events and facilitated connections between thousands of people and companies.

Talent Lab's client list includes: LloydsTSB, Alcatel, Royal Mail, FirstGroup, Spectrecom, Fine Art Wealth Management, Redington, Blue2 Finance, Silverman Sherliker, Trafic and many smaller businesses across all sectors.
