Ekte Nordic Kitchen was opened in the City of London in 2018 by Danish restaurateur Søren Jessen.

Ekte, meaning genuine or real in Norwegian, offers a varied Nordic menu with each dish taking inspiration from the Northern hemisphere. Using only carefully sourced, sustainable ingredients, Ekte’s menus – which were created by Swedish-born Executive Chef Robin Freeman and are now overseen by Head Chef Simon Finn – celebrate everything each season has to offer using only the very best of British produce.

Ekte Nordic Kitchen is open from Monday-Saturday from 11:30am until 10:30pm for Scandinavian seasonal dishes, Nordic-inspired cocktails, freshly baked cinnamon buns and plenty more delights!
