About Interactifs

Interactifs - We train business people to communicate more effectively, obtain concrete results more quickly, and enhance relationships.

From: Sarah Hanson, Partner, Interactifs?

What: How to ask for what you want and give yourself the best chance of getting it

When: Thursday 8th March, 8:00am to 10:30am

Where: Mint Leaf City Lounge, 12 Angel Court, London EC2R 7HB

Novelist Anaïs Nin memorably said “Life shrinks or expands according to one’s courage”. Yet courage is often in short supply when people in business have to make a difficult request of a colleague, a client ,a  boss – or even a team member.  Many of us will either skirt around the issue or just put it off altogether. Others will be brutally direct. But any of these choices carries risk for both the relationship and the likelihood of having the request granted.

On March 8th Interactifs UK will run a breakfast workshop on how to make a difficult request in a way which will increase the level of comfort for both parties, give you the best chance of a successful outcome and generate both respect and self-respect.

What you'll learn

You'll discover a structure for broaching difficult subjects in a way which will give you the best chance of getting the result you want, whilst maintaining the relationship and building for the future.

You will also leave with some ideas about how to react to unexpected responses in a way which will allow you to remain calm, think fast and give yourself the best chance of turning the situation around to your advantage.

The workshop forms an introduction to a broader approach for dealing with other people in all meetings and conversations so as to produce concrete results more quickly whilst enhancing relationships.

Who we are

Interactifs teach verbal effectiveness skills to the executive boards and salesforces – and to every level in between – of leading companies in the financial, industrial, professional services and consumer goods sectors, in many different countries and languages.  Our original approach is the fruit of many years of research into, and observation of, effective verbal behaviours in meetings.  www.interactifs.co.uk

The Interactifs approach is the subject of a best-selling book, ´Talk Lean' (www.talk-lean.com), which in 2015 was short-listed for the 'Management Book of the Year' award
