Building People is a technology platform that brings together supply and demand across the Built Environment (architecture, engineering and construction).

At Building People we make it easier for people to find careers information, resources, events and vacancies, and helping employers widen talent pools in order to attract and retain a more diverse built environment workforce.

We have a simple plan: Aggregate. Integrate. Enable. Connect.

Our platform brings together people, opportunities, resources, knowledge and needs. 

Connecting diverse audiences
There are many disparate organisations that provide built environment careers support to diverse and under-represented audiences.

Building People brings these organisations and initiatives together to facilitate discussion, collaboration and change. We support them to identify common challenges, then lead on the delivery of collaborative solutions (e.g. our collective response to the Construction Leadership Council’s Skills Plan).

The Building People Communities Network is open to all organisations and initiatives that work with diverse audiences to facilitate careers in the built environment. We meet on a quarterly basis, membership is free and we ask you to join in by sharing your opportunities, content and vacancies via our aggregating and connecting platform. This is how we join the dots and improve diversity across the built environment - together.
