Nockolds Solicitors is an established professional legal practice with roots tracing back to 1831. Since that time, the firm has continued to grow and adapt with society to become an award-winning and highly acclaimed law firm with offices in Bishop’s Stortford, London and a separate business offering legal services in Spain. 

Whilst the firm has been around for almost 200 years in Hertfordshire, it has tripled its turnover over the last 9 years, all of which has been entirely organic growth. 

In 2013, the firm launched its London office which has grown incredibly and has attracted a wealth of new London-based clients. Nockolds niche areas such as family, commercial mediation and contentious probate have received referrals from City lawyers impressed by the firm’s approach and service.

2023 also saw the firm launch its separate international business in Estepona, Malaga Spain (Nockolds Lawyers Spain). Following the year-on-year growth of international work, and with the increased need for cross-border legal advice, Nockolds Solicitors and Nockolds Lawyers Spain work closely together to offer clients legal services between both English and Spanish legal systems.

The ongoing strategic management of the firm and leadership of Darren Hayward, Managing Partner, and his Board have continued to deliver growth and expansion into new markets. In addition to being a multi-service law firm, Nockolds also offers HR consultancy services (Nockolds HR), a financial services business (Nockolds Wealth) and a mediation service for consumers of optical care (OCCS) and the veterinary sector (VCMS).
